AICHIKI gives you flexible tools to personalize, organize, and manage your conversations. Here's what each option does when interacting with messages and entire chats.

📌 Message Options

Character's Last Message

(Tap & hold a message or tap ⋯ on the bubble)

• Regenerate — Generate an alternative response from the character. Tap the main button to regenerate normally, or tap the arrow to access advanced modes:

  

1. Think — Uses an additional AI analysis step to review previous messages and regenerations, then instructs the AI how to produce a better response. Best when you've regenerated a few times but aren't getting what you want

2. With Hint — Lets you type a hint to guide the regeneration. The AI will use your input to generate a more tailored alternative

WARNING

📝 A Note on With Hint Content moderation applies to hints. The hint field is monitored to prevent harmful content from being forced into a character's responses. Hints that push toward sexual violence, abuse, or similar harmful scenarios will be filtered out. Story-driven content : fights, conflict, dark themes, morally complex situations, is generally fine.

Not all AI models respond to hints. This depends on the model powering the character. More advanced models are more likely to follow your hint, while smaller or less capable models may ignore it entirely. If your hint doesn't seem to have any effect, this is normal and not a bug, it's simply a limitation of the AI model included in your current subscription plan.

• Copy — Copies the message text so you can paste it elsewhere

• Bookmark Message — Saves that specific message to your bookmarks

• Delete — Deletes the character's last message. If Keep Last Message is disabled in settings, a new reply will be generated automatically. If it's enabled, no new reply is triggered, tap Continue when you're ready for the character to respond again

• Edit — Edit the character's last message directly

• Report Message — Flags the message for review if it violates platform rules

• Boost Memory (Free users only) Enhance your chat experience with full memory for 3 days. This is a one-time purchase (not a subscription) that enables unlimited memory for this specific chat. Can be purchased multiple times. After 3 days, the chat returns to limited memory. Plus and Premium users have unlimited memory in all chats by default.

Character's Previous Messages

(Tap ⋯ on any earlier message from the character)

• Copy — Copies the message text

• Bookmark Message — Saves that message to your bookmarks

• Drop Everything from Here — Deletes the selected message and everything that follows. Useful if you want to rewrite or restart from that point

• Clone Up to Here — Clones your entire conversation up to and including the selected message into a brand new chat, then switches you to that copy. Your original chat stays safely untouched in your history. Perfect for exploring "what if" branches without risking your main storyline

• Report Message — Flags the message for review

Your Last Message

(Tap ⋯ on your own last message)

• Copy — Copies the message text

• Bookmark Message — Saves that message to your bookmarks

• Delete — Deletes your last message

• Edit — Edit your last message directly

• Report Message — Flags the message for review

Your Previous Messages

(Tap ⋯ on any of your earlier messages)

• Copy — Copies the message text

• Bookmark Message — Saves that message to your bookmarks

• Drop Everything from Here — Deletes the selected message and everything that follows

• Clone Up to Here — Clones your conversation up to that point into a new chat

• Report Message — Flags the message for review

💬 Conversation Menu

(Tap ⋯ in the top-right corner of the screen during a chat)

• Invite Character — Invite a second public character into the conversation

• Bookmark Conversation — Saves the entire conversation to your bookmarks

• Theme — Choose a chat theme to set the mood of your conversation. If you already have a theme active, its name will show here (e.g. Theme (Luna)). Tap the arrow to expand and access Theme Settings directly, no need to browse the full theme list just to tweak your current one

• Chat Settings — Adjust how your character responds (see details below)

• Clone Conversation — Creates a full duplicate of your entire conversation and switches you to the new copy. Your original remains safely in your history

• Report Conversation — Report the conversation if it includes inappropriate or rule-breaking content

• Download as PDF — Save the full conversation to your device as a PDF

• Delete Conversation — Permanently removes the chat from your history

🎨 Theme Selection & Settings

• Theme — Opens a list of all available chat themes. Browse and tap any theme to preview it, then tap Save to apply it. If you'd like to customize the selected theme before saving, tap the Customize button (palette icon) to open the theme customization panel.

When you tap the arrow next to Theme and select Theme Settings, you can customize your active theme:

• Chat Font — Choose text size: Small, Normal, or Large

• Use Default Fonts — Toggle to override the theme's custom font and use the app's default font instead

• Disable Theme Animations — Toggle to turn off animated backgrounds for a smoother experience

• Background Image — Choose from several background options available for your active theme, including using the character's own image

• Show Background — Toggle the background image on or off

• Blur Background — Toggle to apply a blur effect to the background

• Image Opacity — Adjust how vivid or subtle the background image appears

⚙️ Chat Settings Menu Details

The Chat Settings menu gives you control over how your AI character responds. You can fine-tune the tone, length, and behavior of the conversation to match your preferred style. Here's what each option does:

• Response Length Choose how long you want the character's replies to be.

  • Short – Quick, concise responses
  • Medium – A balanced reply with depth and flow (Default)
  • Long – More detailed, immersive replies for rich storytelling

• Response Style Pick the tone of the conversation.

  • Chat – More casual, real-life conversational tone
  • Roleplay – More descriptive and immersive storytelling

• Emojis Toggle whether the character uses emojis in their replies.

  • Yes – Adds expressiveness to messages
  • No – Keeps responses clean and emoji-free

• Surprise Factor Decide how unpredictable the character should be.

  • Minimal – Safer, more predictable replies
  • Balanced – A good mix of consistency and spontaneity (Default)
  • Wild – More unexpected twists and bold interactions

• Creativity Control how imaginative the character's replies are.

  • Low – Realistic and grounded responses
  • Medium – Natural creativity and personality (Default)
  • High – Highly creative and open to more fantasy or unconventional ideas

• Clone Conversation Creates a complete duplicate of your entire conversation and switches you to the new copy. Your original conversation remains safely stored in your chat history, allowing you to explore different directions without any risk to your main storyline.

• Report Conversation Report an entire conversation if it includes inappropriate or rule-breaking content.

• Delete Conversation (Delete Chat) Permanently removes the full chat from your history. To delete a chat, tap the ⋯ menu in the top-right corner during a conversation and select "Delete Conversation".

👥 Profile Preview Features

These features are the same for both free and premium users:

• Tap the character's picture — Opens a pop-up showing the character's public profile, including their image, name, and description

• Tap your own picture — Opens a pop-up showing the identity you're currently using for that conversation, including the identity's avatar and bio

▶️ Continue Button

The Continue button (the fast-forward icon on the right side of the screen) prompts the character to send another message without you needing to type anything. Useful when you want the story to keep moving, or when you've deleted the character's last message and have Keep Last Message enabled and are ready for their next response.
