I Can't Create a Character

If the app won't let you create a character, here are some common causes and fixes:

Common Issues

• Missing required fields — At minimum, your character needs a name. In Full Control mode, check that the name field is filled in. In Aichiki mode, make sure you've answered all of Aichiki's questions.
• Content blocked by moderation — AICHIKI reviews characters automatically. If your character violates content rules, you'll be asked to adjust it before saving.
• Temporary system error — Try again in a few minutes.

Mode-Specific Tips

Aichiki Mode (Guided Chat)

• If Aichiki seems stuck, try using the Back button to go to a previous question and re-answer it
• You can switch to Full Control mode at any time if the guided flow isn't working for you

Full Control Mode (Form)

• Make sure you scroll down on mobile — some fields may be below the fold
• Use the Save & Review button (not just Save) to validate your character before publishing
• You can switch to Chat Mode if you'd rather have Aichiki help you build the character
