How to Create an Account and Log In
Creating an account on AICHIKI is quick and easy. Whether you're here to chat, create characters, or just explore, all you need is an email address (or an existing login method) to get started.
Creating Your Account
You can create an account in just a few steps:
Open the AICHIKI app or visit the website.
Tap "Sign Up" on the home screen.
Choose how you'd like to sign up:
- Apple
If using email, enter your email address and create a password.
Agree to the terms of service and privacy policy.
Tap "Create Account."
Once your account is created, you'll be prompted to create your first identity (your avatar in conversations). You can't chat without one, but don't worry—it only takes a minute!
Email Verification & Account Activation
Who Needs to Verify Their Email?
Automatically Verified:
- Apple Sign-In - If you joined with your Apple account, you're already verified
- Google Sign-In - If you joined with your Google account, you're already verified
Requires Verification:
- Email/Password Accounts - If you signed up with an email and password, you must verify your email address
Quick Tip
For the simplest experience, sign in with Apple or Google to skip email verification entirely. However, if you prefer email/password login, verification is a required security step.
Why Email Verification Matters
Email verification helps protect AICHIKI from spammers and fake accounts. Until you verify your email, you cannot:
- Create new characters
- Generate character images
- Access certain premium features
This is simply a security measure to keep the platform safe for everyone.
How to Verify Your Email
After signing up with email/password, the verification process is automatic:
- Check your inbox - AICHIKI will send a verification email to the address you registered with
- Find the email - Look for an email with a verification link or button
- Click the link/button - This will open a web page confirming your email is verified
- Close the tab - You'll see a message saying "Email verified - you can close this tab"
- Start using AICHIKI - Return to the app and enjoy full access
Troubleshooting: Email Not Received
If you don't see the verification email within a few minutes:
Step 1: Check Your Spam Folder
Verification emails sometimes get filtered into spam, junk, or promotions folders. Check all email folders before requesting a resend.
Step 2: Resend the Verification Link
During Onboarding (Right After Signup):
- If you skip verification initially, AICHIKI will show an "Email not verified" message
- You'll see an option to resend the verification link right there
Later, From Settings:
On Mobile:
- Open the app sidebar
- Tap the gear icon (Settings)
- Look for "Resend Verification Link" or "Verify Email"
- Tap to send a new verification email
On Desktop/Web:
- Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the header
- Click Settings
- Find the "Resend Verification Link" or "Verify Email" button
- Click to send a new verification email
Step 3: Wrong Email Address?
If you misspelled your email address during signup:
Option 1: Contact Support
- Email our support team (see Contact Support)
- Request an email address change
- Include your current registered email and the correct one
Option 2: Start Fresh (Easier)
- Delete your current account from Settings
- Create a new account with the correct email address
- This is usually faster and simpler
Important
Make absolutely sure you're checking the correct email address - the one you used when you signed up. If you're not sure which email you used, check your account settings first.
Common Verification Questions
Q: How long does verification take? A: The email should arrive within 1-2 minutes. If it doesn't, check spam and use the resend option.
Q: Can I use AICHIKI without verifying? A: You can browse and chat with existing characters, but you cannot create characters or generate images until verified.
Q: I verified but still can't create characters? A: Try logging out and back in. If the issue persists, contact support.
Q: Can I change my verification email? A: Yes, contact support or delete your account and create a new one with the correct email.

To avoid verification hassles entirely, we recommend signing up with Apple or Google. These methods provide instant verification and easier account recovery.
Logging In to Your Account
Already have an account?
Open AICHIKI.
Tap "Log In."
Choose the method you used to create your account (email, Google, or Apple).
Enter your credentials and tap "Continue."
User Tip
Forgot your password? On the log-in screen, tap "Forgot Password" and follow the steps to reset it via email.
