Referral Program ​

Share AICHIKI with friends and earn free Plus days for both of you!

How It Works ​

When you share your referral code with a friend and they sign up for AICHIKI:

  • You get: 5 days of Plus access
  • Your friend gets: 5 days of Plus access

Both parties benefit from the referral, making it a win-win!

Getting Your Referral Code ​

  1. Open the Settings menu in the app
  2. Tap on Referrals
  3. Click Get My Code to generate your unique referral code
  4. Share your code with friends via:
    • Copy and paste
    • Social media
    • Text message
    • Email

Redeeming a Referral Code ​

If someone shared a code with you:

  1. After signing up and verifying your email, you'll be prompted to enter a referral code during onboarding
  2. Enter the code your friend shared with you
  3. Both you and your friend will receive 5 days of Plus access!

Note: Referral codes can only be redeemed once per account during the onboarding process or shortly after signup.

Referral Stats Dashboard ​

Track your referral success in the Referrals modal:

  • Your Referral Code: Your unique code to share
  • Total Invites: How many people have used your code
  • Days Earned: Total Plus days you've earned from referrals
  • Active/Pending Status: Whether your referral days are currently active or queued

How Referral Days Work ​

If You're on a Free Plan ​

When someone uses your code, your 5 days of Plus access activate immediately. If you already have active referral days, they extend your current Plus access by 5 more days.

If You Have a Paid Subscription ​

When you have an active paid subscription (monthly or yearly), referral days you earn are queued and will automatically activate when your paid subscription ends. This means:

  • Your paid subscription continues uninterrupted
  • Referral days stack up in the background
  • When your paid plan expires, all queued referral days activate at once
  • You seamlessly transition to Plus access from referrals

Example: If you have 3 friends sign up while you're on a paid plan, you'll have 15 days of Plus queued. When your paid subscription ends, those 15 days will automatically activate.

Program Guidelines ​

Email Verification Required ​

Your email must be verified before you can generate a referral code or activate earned referral days. This keeps the program fair for everyone.

Real Email Addresses ​

The referral program is designed for real users:

  • Use a legitimate email address from providers like Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Yahoo, ProtonMail, etc.
  • Disposable or temporary email services ("10 minute mail" style addresses) aren't compatible with the referral system
  • This helps us maintain a genuine community of AICHIKI users

Simple Rules ​

  • One code per account: Redeem one referral code during signup
  • No self-referrals: You can't use your own code
  • No limit on earned days: Share with as many friends as you like and stack up Plus access!

Referral Days vs. Paid Subscriptions ​

Referral days provide full Plus plan features:

  • Unlimited messages with characters
  • Access to all AI providers
  • Priority response times
  • Advanced character creation features

The only difference is:

  • Referral days are time-limited based on successful referrals
  • Referral days are promotional: They're a marketing benefit, not a purchased service

This is a Marketing Tool ​

The referral program helps AICHIKI grow by rewarding you for introducing friends to the platform. It's designed to be generous and fun!

Program May Change ​

As with any promotional program:

  • We may adjust how many days are granted per referral
  • The Plus plan or referral program could be modified based on business needs
  • Unused referral days might be adjusted if our business direction changes
  • We'll do our best to notify you of major changes via email

Think of referral days as a bonus reward for helping AICHIKI grow, not as a permanent guaranteed benefit.

Keep It Real ​

The program works best when you share AICHIKI with people who would genuinely enjoy it. Our system automatically helps keep things fair for everyone.

Frequently Asked Questions ​

Q: Can I change my referral code? A: No, referral codes are permanent and unique to your account.

Q: What happens if my friend doesn't verify their email? A: You won't receive your 5 days until they verify their email address. Unverified referrals don't count.

Q: Do referral days expire? A: No! Once activated, your referral days count down only when you're actively using them. Queued referral days wait until your paid subscription ends.

Q: Can I combine referral days with a paid subscription? A: Referral days earned while on a paid plan are queued and activate after your paid subscription ends. You can't have both active simultaneously.

Q: How do I know if my referral code worked? A: Check your Referrals dashboard in Settings - you'll see your total invites and earned days update when someone successfully uses your code.

Q: Can I use someone else's code if I already have an account? A: No, referral codes can only be redeemed during signup or within a short window after account creation.
