🔹 How to Create, Edit, or Delete an Identity

In AICHIKI, your identity is the avatar you use while chatting or roleplaying. You can create as many identities as you like, each with their own name, picture, and bio. Your identities are private, only you can see them.

🧑‍🎨 How to Create a New Identity

  1. Open the sidebar and tap Identities
  2. Tap the +ADD button in the top-right corner
  3. You'll be taken to the identity creation page

Here you can add an image in three ways:

  • Upload — use a photo from your device

  • Generate — use the AI image tool. Type a description of what your identity should look like, choose a visual style (Anime, Realistic, Chibi, Fantasy, etc.), browse the results and tap Accept on the one you like

  • Images — pick from your personal My Images gallery

Then:

  • Enter a Display Name

  • Write a bio in the About Me section

  • Tap Save to finish

✏️ How to Edit an Identity

Tap any identity in your list to open it. From there you can update the image, name, or bio. Tap Save when you're done.

🗑️ How to Delete an Identity

There are two ways:

  1. From the identity's page:

Tap the identity to open it, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete Identity

  1. From the identities list:

Swipe the identity to the left to reveal the delete option

📌 Setting or Clearing a Default Identity

To set a default, tap the pin icon on any identity in your list. When a default is set, new chats will start with that identity automatically without prompting you to choose.

To clear the default, tap Clear Default at the top of your identities list. The app will go back to asking you each time you start a new chat.

🔁 Can I Switch Identities During a Chat?

No — once a chat has started, the identity is locked for that conversation. If you want to use a different identity, start a new chat.

🚀 New Chat Selection

When you start a new chat, a popup will appear asking you to select:

  • Identity — which persona you want to use

  • Language — which language you want to chat in

If you've set a default identity and a preferred language in Settings, the popup won't appear and the chat starts immediately.
