Replies Are Unusually Short ​
What's Happening ​
If chat replies feel suddenly short and clipped — and changing your chat settings (length, style, character options) doesn't seem to make a difference — the cause is usually your Account Standing, not the chat itself.
When your standing is at the Limited tier, replies are kept shorter across all conversations regardless of your individual chat settings. This is automatic and applies to every chat, not just one.
What to Do ​
- Open Settings in AICHIKI
- Scroll down and tap Account Standing
- Check your current tier
If you see Limited, that's why your replies are short. The page will also show you what helps your standing recover over time.

Still Not Sure? ​
If your Account Standing is Standard or Trusted and replies still feel too short, it's probably a chat setting or the model itself.
Try:
Opening the chat options for that conversation and checking the reply length setting
Comparing with a different character to see if it's chat-specific or account-wide
If the settings look fine, the model may have simply defaulted to a shorter reply on that turn. In that case:
Delete the short reply and let the character send a new one, or use the regenerate option to get a fresh response
Repeat until the reply feels right
Deleting is the better option over regenerating repeatedly and leaving the short message in your chat. Our models learn from responses that go unaddressed, a short reply left in place can signal that shorter answers are what you want, which may carry forward into future replies.
